SurfTech is a low temperature PVD coating facility that helps manufacturers improve part and tool performance. Our coating options are designed to increase wear resistance, reduce the coefficient of friction, and reduce galling while supporting dependable, quality-focused results.

Our facility

SurfTech runs low temperature, ion assisted physical vapor deposition in Austinburg, Ohio. The chamber, the fixturing and the cleaning line all exist to serve that one process.

The coatings are true multi-layer thin films that interlace each layer with a combination of materials, so performance stays consistent through the life of the product.

ISO 9001 certified

Coverage, adhesion, color and thickness are checked against the order before a lot ships. Lots are identified at goods-in and stay identified through the routing, so a question about a part six months later has an answer.
